A thoughtful gesture, carefully planned

Hospital flower delivery in Athens, TN

A little color, and a reminder that you’re thinking of them. Before sending flowers to a hospital, check the patient’s unit and talk with us about the delivery.

Our flowers are made by hand in Athens with a gathered garden feel. The right place and date matter just as much as the arrangement.

Check the unit before you send

Make sure flowers are welcome

Starr Regional’s patient guide says flowers are not allowed in ICU, and fresh flowers are not allowed in critical care areas. Ask the facility about the patient’s specific unit, its current rules and where a florist should bring a delivery.

Confirm with the facility

Check that flowers can be accepted for this patient and unit. Ask about receiving hours, the delivery entrance and any limits on arrangement size or containers.

Gather the details

Have the patient’s full name, the correct campus address and the unit or room if the facility requests it. Check that they will still be there on your preferred date.

Talk with us first

Share the confirmed delivery instructions and date with us before ordering. We’ll check availability and discuss whether we can accommodate the request.

Local hospital contacts

Starr Regional in Athens & Etowah

Confirm the campus with the recipient or someone close to them. For nursing, long-term care or another service on a campus, ask that unit directly about flower rules and receiving arrangements.

Details checked against Starr Regional’s website in October 2026. These contacts are a planning guide; flower acceptance and a Valley Bloom delivery need to be confirmed for the specific unit and date.

Another thoughtful way to send

Flowers for when they’re home

If hospital flowers are not permitted or the timing is uncertain, a gift at home may be easier to plan. Check a convenient date and address with the recipient or someone close to them.

A soft palette, their favorite colors and a size suited to a bedside or coffee table can help you choose. Each arrangement has its own description, size options and pictured-size guidance.

Hospital flower questions

Can every hospital patient receive flowers?

No. Starr Regional’s patient guide excludes flowers from ICU and fresh flowers from critical care areas. Ask the facility about the specific patient’s unit and its current policy before arranging any flowers.

Can I place a hospital delivery order through checkout?

Contact us first after checking the facility’s flower rules and receiving instructions. A checkout date or eligible address alone does not confirm that the hospital can accept flowers or that we can meet its requirements.

What information do you need to discuss a delivery?

The campus name and address, preferred date, patient’s full name and any unit or room information the facility asks you to provide. Include the receiving instructions you have confirmed, along with your budget and flowers in mind.

What if they leave the hospital before the delivery date?

Contact us as soon as plans change so we can discuss the order. A gift to their home may be an option, subject to the address, date and delivery arrangements. Read our delivery policy and refund and cancellation policy before ordering.
