Wedding Flowers by Season: A McMinn County Guide

Peony Dream — hand-arranged florals by Valley Bloom Shop, Athens TN

One of the easiest ways to get gorgeous wedding flowers without overspending is to lean into the season. In-season blooms are fresher, more abundant and gentler on the budget. Here’s what we love for weddings throughout the year here in McMinn County.

Spring (March–May)

Peonies, ranunculus, tulips and sweet peas are at their dreamy best — soft, romantic and full of movement. Perfect for a garden-style ceremony.

Summer (June–August)

Garden roses, dahlias, zinnias and lisianthus bring bold color and lush texture. Great for vibrant, joyful celebrations.

Fall (September–November)

Think rich, warm palettes — dahlias, chrysanthemums, thistle and trailing eucalyptus, with rust and burgundy tones that feel made for an autumn wedding.

Winter (December–February)

Crisp whites, amaryllis, anemones and evergreen accents create timeless, elegant arrangements with a cozy holiday feel.

Every wedding is different, and we design each one around your colors, venue and budget. Tell us your vision through our Weddings & Events inquiry and we’ll take it from there.
